Dear Volunteers:
We are pleased to announce that Oak Hills Country Club will be hosting the 2010 AT&T Championship presented by Alcatel-Lucent the week of October 25-31.

CHARITY
Last year we donated over $350,000 to local charities and this would not have been possible without our outstanding volunteers and their continued support.

REFER-A-FRIEND PROGRAM
In an effort to continue to enlarge our tournament support system by adding to our already energetic volunteer family, and with a lot of excitement and competition for our veteran volunteers, don’t forget about our Volunteer “Refer-A-Friend” Program. It is a great way for you to spread the word about how much fun you have.

On the volunteer application, a new volunteer enters the name of the veteran volunteer who referred him or her in the “referred by” field at the time of registration. A new volunteer is one who has not volunteered for our event in the past. Veteran volunteers receive one entry in the contest every time they are entered as a referring friend. There is no limit on the number of entries a veteran volunteer can receive so keep in mind the more friends the merrier! A veteran volunteer must be signed up as a returning 2010 volunteer to qualify for the contest by Sunday, Oct. 24th. The grand prize winner will be announced during the Volunteer Appreciation Party on Saturday, Oct. 30th.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS/PACKAGE
Volunteers are required to pay a uniform fee of $25 for one (1) golf shirt and one (1) cap or visor. For your generous donation you will receive a package valued at over $350 which consists of one volunteer badge, volunteer lapel pin, ticket book (Fri. – Sun.), lunch & beverages provided on days worked, volunteer parking pass, shuttle service, and you are encouraged to attend our Volunteer Appreciation Party on Saturday, Oct. 30th, immediately after play in the hospitality tent. This party is exclusively for volunteers.

While working you must wear the official AT&T Championship uniform. Each volunteer must wear khaki pants, golf length shorts or capri’s. Once you have been assigned to a committee, your committee chairman will be in contact with you to finalize your schedule in the weeks prior to the tournament and provide you with detailed information pertaining to your duties, responsibilities, meetings, credentials and uniform distribution.

Payment is accepted by American Express, MasterCard, Visa, check or money order and made payable to AT&T Championship. Please mail your signed application and form of payment to AT&T Championship, ATTN: Tina Aird/Volunteers, 7550 IH-10 West, Suite 660, San Antonio, TX 78229. If you have any questions please send me an email or give me a call. If for any reason you are unable to work, you must return the entire, unused uniform package to the Tournament Office, prior to the event, in order to receive a refund.

GOLF APPRECIATION DAY
To qualify for Golf Appreciation Day (GAD), with a shared cart, you must work a minimum of 18 hours and purchase a volunteer uniform for $25. Golf shoes must be spike less and a dress code is enforced.
